Unofficial tool
This is an independent, open-source project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) or any county appraisal district. PWD 885 / PWD 888 and 1-d-1 refer to public TPWD forms and the Texas open-space valuation program; the names are used only to describe what the tool helps you prepare.
Not professional advice
The app is an organizational aid. Nothing it produces or displays is legal, tax, or professional wildlife-management advice. Property tax valuation decisions are made by your county appraisal district under state law — always verify requirements, deadlines, and filings with your appraisal district, TPWD, and your own advisors.
Your data and your responsibility
Your data is stored in your own browser and, if you enable Google Sync, in your own Google Drive (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping backups, for the accuracy of what you submit to any authority, and for meeting your own filing deadlines.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors are not liable for any damages arising from use of the app — including lost data, missed deadlines, or adverse valuation decisions.
Google services
The optional Google Drive sync feature uses your Google account and is additionally subject to Google's Terms of Service.
Open source
The software is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3. You may inspect, copy, and modify it under that license; the source is available from the project repository.
